Jackie Young: started teaching Bikram Yoga in 2000 and opened Bikram Yoga Sandy with her husband, Alex Wheeler in 2003, outdoor enthusiast, loves to explore art and woodworking.

Jennifer Ellen Mueller: my desire is to offer a practice and place where all shapes, sizes, ages, and levels of ability feel celebrated, empowered, graceful, beautiful and strong, owner/director of Flow Yoga.

Leraine Horstmanshoff: yoga teacher and professional musician who often plays with Shantala and has accompanied classes for John Friend.


Al Burgess: first ran into yoga during his 20 year wanderings in the Indian and Nepal Himalayas, has practiced Ashtanga yoga for 10 year, favours a powerful form that fits well with his climbing lifestyle, now teaching a free class for the community at the Sugar Space Arts Studio (email Al)

Linda Burbank: studying yoga since 1998, currently an anusara-inspired teacher, with an upbeat peaceful and grounded style (The Shop)

John Cottrell: Power Yoga instructor who focuses on strength, balance, endurance, and vitality (Centered City Yoga), also manages the yoga and pilates prorgam for Lifetime Fitness.

Lucy Dillon Kinkead: loves bringing yoga to the mainstream with a style that blends asanas and authenticity with humor and humility. She studies with D'ana Baptiste, John Friend, Ana Forrest and Rolf Gates, and on many days, her best teachers are her students (Centered City Yoga)

Marlena Lambert, RYT: calls her teaching style "Ha-ha Yoga," a light-hearted approach inspired by Anusara, a licensed massage therapist with a background in cultural anthropology and natural sciences, brings a truly holistic perspective to the practice. (email Marlene)

An instructor for seven years, Scott teaches both powerful, flowing classes as well as restorative yoga. My wife and I have studied mediation in Korea and have taught yoga in Croatia. As a full-time yoga instructor, I feel thrilled to share my passion with others.
