Spring 2004

"An hour-long exploration of appetite. Of dreams deferred. Or, perhaps, realized."

Inspired by Kafka's The Hunger Artist, this piece looks at bottomless desire. Three souls wander among meat-hooks and lettuce, occasionally blurting out secrets, exploding with dance and then retreating for cover. "It's the kind of bold, complex piece Utah audiences have come to expect from [SB Dance]."

Choreography: Stephen Brown.
Performers: Christine Hasegawa, Josh Larson, Liberty Valentine
Set: Stephen Brown, Craig Berman, Mattson McFarland
Lights: Stefanie Slade
