Spring
2002
"From the
bedroom, to the barstool,
to the gates of hell."
Orpheus
is an obsessive photographer. Eurydice is a party girl.
Pluto employs them both in a bar called Paris, the
setting for a oily love triangle framed by a chorus
of half-drunken Muses.
The result
of an international collaboration between Utah and
France, a shared venture rehearsed and videoed in both
locations and told bilingually.
Choreographed and conceived
by: Stephen Brown. Music by: Doume Castagnet. Video by:
Victoria Hindley and Bob Rock. Lights by: Stefanie Slade.
Set and costumes by: Stephanie Sleeper. Performers: Corinne
Barbara, Stephen Brown, Doume Castagnet, Eric Grondin,
Christine Hasegawa, Josh Larson and Ruping Wang.
