1) Support Your Kind of Art

Subvert, as in undermining established authorities and ways of thinking, as in shaking things up. No target is safe from our humor. If you want pretty dances that declare war is bad and love is good, there are plenty of options. If you want a no-holds-barred arts group described as "Firmly rooted in the weird and wonderful", this is the place.

Don't take our word for it-- the proof is in the pudding. Check our our Vimeo site. Browse these pages or our FB posts.

2) Bang for the Buck
Almost no overhead; no non-artistic staff. When you give to SB Dance, you pay an artist or for a production piece like costumes or for getting an audience to the theater. Ba da bing; ba da boom.

3) Fiscal Responsibility
SB Dance has been in business since 1998. A federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the company registers annually with the State of Utah. We have no operating deficit. 3-year financial statements are available upon request. We love to show them off.

It boils down to this: We charge $15--$20 per seat and it usually costs $50-$75 per seat to produce a show. Yup, that's why they call it nonprofit. The gap is supported by contributions. SB Dance receives some tax dollars from public agencies and some generous support from private foundations and individuals. Yet that's not enough to cover the gap: WE NEED YOU!

Please think about donating via PayPal's secure and nifty service. All donations are tax-deductible as allowable by law. Each donor is recognized in the program and publicity materials. We mail you a humongous thank you and a tax acknowledgment letter for your records. Please feel free to contact us for more information about giving or other ways of helping out.

Muchos gracias for your consideration.
